Many moons ago, we wrote about mortgage adviser Jo Jingree winning her second award after being crowned as one of the UK’s top mortgage advisors.
Fast forward four years and we’re proud to say Jo has scooped the same prize for the sixth year running, after being listed in VouchedFor’s 2024 Guide to the Top Rated Financial Advisers.
“These awards are based on reviews, so it feels like a glowing endorsement from all my clients,” Jo says. “No client is the same and the same goes for a mortgage or remortgage. Which is why, year in, year out, I pride myself on listening to my clients and tracking down the right mortgage deal for them. To win this award for the sixth time in a row, is a testament to that!”.
What is the VouchedFor Guide?
Most industries have a trusted platform that allows consumers to find local certified professionals in their area and check their credentials. And in the financial, legal and accounting sector, that’s where VouchedFor steps up to the plate.
The guide has been published since 2019. To qualify for a spot in the coveted guide, advisers must rack up 10 or more reviews on their VouchedFor page each year with an average rating of 4.5 stars or higher.
Winners must also have an overall rating of 4.5 stars or higher based on their client and first impression reviews and have passed all of the VouchedFor checks — like having the necessary permissions to practise in the profession.
Five-stars all round
At the time of writing this, according to Jo’s VouchedFor review page, 100% of users who are not yet clients had a positive first experience with Jo. Out of all 126 reviews Jo has received, she has scored top marks with five out of five stars.
Jo doesn’t just help with first time buyer mortgages. Since Mortgage Confidence was first launched in 2017, Jo’s helped countless clients with remortgages, moving home and buy to let mortgages.
She’s also helped self-employed people get onto the property ladder and those who are credit impaired live out their dreams of owning their own four walls. Over her 7 years in business, Jo’s also worked her magic on disgruntled clients who weren’t happy with the level of service they’ve received with other brokers and turned their mortgage woes around.
What clients had to say

For example, as one Essex-based client wrote: “I wasn’t happy with the [broker] I had used previously and I had lost my confidence in them. Jo was very approachable looking into the best mortgages that suited us, had great advice and was understanding of our needs.” When asked what Jo could have done better? The client said: “Nothing. Jo stayed in contact throughout the process keeping us informed at all times.”
Jo can even help manage equity splitting and the removal of a help to buy loan. One London-based client said: “Jo helped me remortgage and advised me on how to go about doing a transfer of equity. She also helped show the difference in mortgages due to the help to buy aspect of my property. Furthermore, she got me several quotes as the interest rates have been dropping, this resulted in £100s of savings vs initial mortgage quote.”
And of course, with all eyes on the base rate and rising costs, Jo can help you manage what to do before your fixed-rate deal comes to an end. This was seen in the case of one couple, who were looking for mortgage advice in the face of very high renewal quotes. “Jo took the time to explain everything in simple terms making everything easy to understand,” the clients said. “Which also gave us the reassurance we were looking for in navigating all the different mortgage options. Jo was able to find ways to reduce our payments and gave invaluable advice.”
